📢 Storm Update from the Fayette County Commission

We want to provide an update on the significant impacts from last night’s severe storm. Based on preliminary rainfall data, this was at minimum a 100-year storm event—and could likely be classified closer to a 200-year event once all data is compiled.

🚧 Severely Damaged Roads: 45
🚫 Roads Currently Closed to Thru Traffic: 20

We know many more roads will need attention in the coming days for grading and repairs. Our crews are working diligently to assess and address each issue as quickly and safely as possible.
