- When are the Commission meetings?
The
Commission meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month in the 3rd floor auditorium of the Courthouse Annex building (103 1st Ave NW Fayette, AL 35555). If you can't make it to the meetings in person, the meetings are recorded and uploaded to the Fayette County Commission Facebook page. Access the page here.

Road Concerns
- How do I report a problem with my road, culvert, or bridge?

- Are there any building or permitting requirements in Fayette County.
There are no building or permitting requirements in Fayette County. There may be requirements if you are building in a city or town within Fayette County. Use the contact information

- What is the procedure for getting a driveway pipe installed?
The County will install a driveway culvert for you, but you must pay for and get the culvert. To submit a request, please call the Fayette County Engineering Department at 205-932-6282 or fill out the form
here.
Garbage
- I need a new garbage can, need billing help, or have questions about my garbage pickup. Who do I talk to?
Fayette County contracts with Waste Management for private citizen garbage pickup. There is currently no Waste Management office in Fayette County. To contact the closest office in Vernon, please call 205-695-8310. To call headquarters, please call 1-866-909-4458.
- How do I fill out a garbage fee exemption application?

- Where is the County Dumpster located during the week?
The County Dumpster is located at the Road Shop at 1112 Hwy 96 Fayette, AL 35555.
- What can I put in the County Dumpster?
Old appliances, tires, construction clean-up, debris clean-up, and general large garbage items from their residential properties.
